The Organic Center Director of Science Programs, Dr. Jessica Shade, is a co-author on a study recently published in the peer-reviewed journal Organic Agriculture entitled “Organic Agriculture 3.0 is innovation with research.”  The paper is a collaboration among researchers from around the world, and examines organic agriculture in a historical context, while providing insights on research needs to help guide the future of organic farming. Themes in the paper were developed from discussions that arose during the International Society of Organic Agricultural Research (ISOFAR) Symposium “Organic 3.0 is Innovation with Research”, held September 20–22, 2015, in conjunction with the first ISOFAR International Organic Expo, in Goesan County, Republic of Korea.
