Thursday, February 20 at 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern
Join us to learn from those in the organic supply chain who want to reduce plastic in their daily work. This listening session will begin with a brief presentation of the background behind this work and the results from an informal industry survey by co-facilitators Mike Dill, Organically Grown Company and Dr. Amber Sciligo, The Organic Center. The remainder of the event will focus on presentations by attendees, who will each be given 2 minutes to share their thoughts and experiences about the desirability, feasibility and sustainability of reducing plastics in their part of the industry. Attendees interested in sharing their stories should opt-in for this first come first served opportunity during registration by February 12.
Each speaker will have 2 minutes to share thoughts on any of the following topics:
- What is the most critical/important plastic tool for your business/operation?
- What is the most critical plastic tool you’re most challenged by finding sustainable alternatives?
- What successful and innovative strategies have you implemented and reduced the amount of plastic in your operation?
