The Organic Center and Organic Voices to celebrate the best in organic

"An Organic Night Out" at Expo West 2025 to highlight science, successes and synergy

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Nov. 18, 2024) — The Organic Center and Organic Voices are thrilled to be cohosting the second annual “An Organic Night Out with Sprouts and Friends” on March 5, 2025, at Expo West in Anaheim, California. Building on the huge success of this past year’s event, this inspiring evening will recognize the remarkable achievements of organic retailers, brands and companies, researchers and others in communicating and promoting the benefits of organic and will bring together organic leaders, champions and stakeholders from across the industry.

The latest research and education to advance organic in the areas of crop production, soil health, food safety, climate, and sustainability also will be highlighted, promising an unforgettable evening of knowledge sharing and celebration that supports a greener and healthier future for the planet.

Organic visionary, advocate and cofounder of the world’s largest organic dairy company Stonyfield Farm, Gary Hirshberg, will emcee the awards ceremony.

“We are honored to again be recognizing and celebrating the exemplary work of individuals, brands and companies to educate consumers about organic,” said Hirshberg. “The response we received to our inaugural Organic Night Out was incredibly enthusiastic, and we look forward to another evening to highlight the outstanding successes of an extraordinary and inspiring group of organic visionaries.”

“This joyous event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for The Organic Center,” said Dr. Amber Sciligo, Director of Science Programs for The Organic Center. “The organic community’s generosity underwrites cutting-edge organic science and enables The Center’s ongoing creation of user-friendly content on the benefits of organic for human health and the environment, and ensures that consumers understand the positive impact of choosing organic.”

Individuals, associations, companies and brands who have shown outstanding success in elevating the awareness, understanding and consumption of organic to new organic consumers will be honored. Awards will be given in nine categories: Best New Organic Food Product; Best Organic Beverage Product; Best New Organic Non-food Product; Best Organic Messaging (Social Media or PR); Best Organic Retailer; Best Organic Supplier; Most Impactful Organic Research Result or Finding; Emerging Organic Brand of the Year; and Organic Company of the Year. Nominations for the awards are now open.
