Melody discovered her passion for the organic food industry in 1976 when she began working at a Natural Foods Coop in Iowa.  Years in the industry have given her extensive knowledge in international trade, organic marketing, policy and regulations. Melody was most recently Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility, Policy and Industry Relations at UNFI and served as the founding Executive Director for the UNFI Foundation.
