Two Perspectives on the Impacts of the FQPA on Pesticide Dietary Risks
In August 2006 the Center released its first "Critical Issue Report" (CIR) assessing progress over the past decade in reducing children's exposures to pesticides.
In September, two major publications covering pesticide regulation and risk issues published overviews of the impacts of the Food Quality Protection Act tens years after the bill's passage. The stories highlight the work that remains to be done in order to deliver on the promise of the FQPA, and draw on the empirical results on pesticide dietary risks that are presented in the Center's recent report.
