The Center's Chief Scientist delivered the closing address at the end of the 2008 annual meeting of Oregon Tilth. Tilth had asked Chuck to address issues and tensions in the organic community over scale, dairy industry issues, local production, and values in the organic food sector.
Chuck began his talk by pointing out that his comments do not reflect the positions or views of the Organic Center board. This written text presents excerpts of Chuck's talk.
