E. coli Critical Issue Report 2006.3 Released

The Organic Center released today a "Critical Issue Report" on E. coli O157. The report explains where E. coli O157 comes from, how it moves from livestock farms to crop fields, and sometimes into food, and what can be done to prevent future outbreaks.

This report contains significantly more information than the FAQs currently posted on the Center's website.

A bibliography with 200 scientific references has also been posted, most with full abstracts. This report and the Center's E. coli bibliograohy will be updated as new information becomes available.
